Additional Scholarship Opportunities

Nursing Assistant Scholarships

The Western Foundation may provide funding to students who experience modest financial situations and/or other special circumstances that hamper their ability to continue learning because of the inability to pay the tuition costs to take the Nursing Assistant class.

TUMMA Manufacturing Careers Scholarship

TUMMA LogoThe Upper Mississippi Manufacturing Alliance (TUMMA.org) is offering multiple $500 scholarships for new students entering Western Technical College in the Fall of 2024. Students pursuing careers in advanced manufacturing related programs are encouraged to apply. 

To apply, complete the application and submit to the Western Technical College Foundation Office.

Fresh Start Program

The Fresh Start Fund assists with childcare funding for eligible single parents to help reduce the obstacles that may prevent them from completing their education at Western Technical College.

Eligibility (determined on a case-by-case basis)

  • For a full or part-time student enrolled in any program at Western Technical College
  • Must be a single parent with custody of the child(ren)
  • Must have financial need
  • All other child care funding resources must be accessed first
  • Must have academic good standing
  • Child must be registered with a licensed, accredited or certified daycare provider

Complete the Student Resource Request Form.

WAMO

The Wisconsin Amusement and Music Operators Scholarship is for students who are accepted or enrolled for six or more credits at any Wisconsin Technical College. To be eligible, you must provide a recommendation form from a WAMO member.
